PittsFORWARD fosters a sense of belonging and addresses systemic and institutional racism through the following Guiding Principles:

Community Building - social events and activities that bring people together, and to help make Pittsford more welcoming.

Community Educating- events and activities that enhance the community’s knowledge around issues of diversity, intersectionality, privilege, equity, cultural humility, and social justice.

Community Bridging - events and activities that turn outward to the City of Rochester, addressing issues of segregation

Our vision is to create an inclusive community that has representation of, access to, and resources for ALL. 

Together, through collective efforts and unified voices, our mission is to make Pittsford a community where all residents have equitable access and a sense of belonging.
